The Mission
At Earthstream, we're on a mission to connect the dots between technology and nature. We build sensors that listen to the Earth, relay data to the blockchain, and can tell biodiversity stories in real-time using AI and machine learning algorithms. It's using sound or bioacoustics to create real-time insights into how we can rewild, restore and regenerate.
Combining DePIN and REFI
Decentralized Physical Infrastructure (DePIN) networks have been successful in scaling infrastructure in multiple areas, including wireless, storage, and compute power. We leverage the DePIN story for our sensor network, and connect a Regenerative Financing (REFI) layer that supports transparent supply chains and large scale nature projects.
How about that? It's the combination of real-time reporting and finance that is the secret sauce.
What is bioacoustics?
Bioacoustics is a new field combining AI and ecology. It measures animal life through sounds, using algorithms instead of human experts. By analysing soundscapes, we can gauge ecosystem health and support nature's stewards. New credit systems that support nature are being created around bioacoustics measurement systems.
